Browsing websites - use of apps - cookies

We distinguish between functional and non-functional cookies. If you continue browsing our website you accept the functional cookies. These are aimed at making the websites function properly. To measure the business use of our website, we use the service Leadinfo from Rotterdam. This service shows us company names and addresses based on IP addresses of our visitors. The IP address is not recorded.

Newsletters - emails

If you receive newsletters or emails from us, it is to inform you about the projects for which you have requested information or for similar products. You gave us your permission to do so by checking the box that you would like to receive the newsletter and receive promotions via email. Of course, you can unsubscribe at any time, at the bottom of each email. Thus, you always have the right to withdraw your consent. You can do this by unsubscribing in the mail, or by emailing us at privacy@holidaysuites.be. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal.

Your name, mailing address, language and zip code are obviously indispensable personal data to collect. Basically, we receive this information from you. However, if you chose to register through a social media account, we received this data through the social media. We therefore recommend that you read the privacy policy of the social medium you use and indicate what data they are allowed to disclose to third parties like us, and for what type of processing. If you did not give your social medium permission for the recipient to pass your data to affiliated companies, we will ask your permission to do so again.

We also collect information about what you already got of information, whether you opened it, whether you clicked on any of the links, and other metadata, and will also expand this in the future with what is technically possible. This data is kept with processors (mail software providers). We may also transfer your data to third parties (including public authorities) if we are required to do so by legal provisions or court decisions. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we also provide your name, mailing address and zip code and interests to affiliated companies with similar products so that they too can provide you with useful information. We will continue to mail you until you indicate, by unsubscribing, that you no longer wish to receive anything. We keep your data for up to 5 years after contacting the company. For lack of interest (= 1 year after last response to emails), we will unsubscribe you ourselves.

Commercial calls

Partner Relations

By meeting a lot of personal information is shared with each other, the information that is relevant to help you further is often noted by our commercial people in a CRM system. This includes your name, address, contact details, preferences, expectations, content of follow-up appointments, etc. We may also transfer your data to third parties (including public authorities), if we are obliged to do so on the basis of legal provisions or court decisions or if this is necessary within the framework of the agreement.

This information is used for automated decision making and profiling. This helps us determine which event we should invite you to, which projects we should present, which information topics best interest you, when we can best reach you by phone,… Of course, you have the right to oppose this at any time. Getting the information already processed erased, or exercising your other rights (see below) can be done with a simple email, which you can send to privacy@holidaysuites.be.

This information is always viewable and we keep it for up to 5 years after the last contact with the company. By accepting this policy when submitting your contact information, via an opt-in , you consent to the processing of the data mentioned above. Customer Relations

By calling our call center, we receive a lot of personal information. Name, phone number, e-mail address, reservation information, bank information… Phone calls are recorded for educational purposes. These conversations can also be requested later by our staff. These interviews and records are kept for a maximum of 3 years.

Uitbating

If you have purchased real estate and entered into an operating mandate to operate it; we process personal information in order to best execute this agreement. This is about your account number for disbursements, the necessary identity information and the correspondence we have with you about it. This data is stored with our CRM partner and cloud providers. We may also transmit your data to third parties (including public authorities), if we are obliged to do so on the basis of legal provisions or court decisions or if this is necessary within the framework of the performance of the contract. We cannot perform the agreement if you do not provide us with your personal data.

You have the right at any time to (a) request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, (b) request the restriction of processing of your personal data or oppose the processing of your personal data, (c) obtain your personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable form and (d) file a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority, https://www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

Apply

Cool that you are considering applying for a position with us. We will of course keep your resume and related correspondence, and note what you told us during any interviews. We seek your consent at the time you send your resume through the websites, of course you may withdraw consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent, prior to its withdrawal.

Data processing is done through our CRM system provider. We keep your data for 3 years in a recruitment reserve. Working at Holiday Suites

Great to welcome you as a colleague. In order to execute our agreement, we keep personal information about you. Of course, there are also legal obligations and obligations concerning social security law and labor law that require us to process personal data. (e.g. filling out a DIMONA declaration). This includes identity data, but also all information we obtained during the recruitment interview, test results, content of evaluation interviews, account numbers, marital status, your salary, history of holidays, your birthday, the number of children, etc., and we have these processed by Itproviders and payroll providers. We cannot employ you if you do not wish to provide us with this information. We also send this data to affiliated companies and other recipients such as insurance companies. We keep the data for 5 years after you left our company. Then anonymized for statistical purposes.

Staying in one of our residences

Welcome as a guest in one of our lodgings. The company (Holiday Suites International, with its registered office in Bruges and registered in KBO with number BE0644.384.658) processes personal information in order to execute its contract and comply with legal obligations. We cannot organize your stay if you do not wish to provide us with your details. Think about your identity information, when you come, how long you stay, information about your means of payment. If you give your explicit consent, we would also like to keep you informed about our commercial actions and pass on your contact details and preferences to affiliated companies active in tourist exploitations. You also get an additional opportunity to give permission to be kept informed of opportunities to purchase 2nd residence real estate, or investment real estate. This is an additional box to check, so you can choose whether you want it. You can undo this consent at any time by unsubscribing to these respective mailings. What we obtain about you is kept for 3 years. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
